VIOLA

Founder of MakeYoga, Viola is a yoga, meditation, and breathwork teacher with nearly a decade of experience teaching various styles of yoga around London. Having embarked on her yoga journey seventeen years ago, she studied with world-class teachers such as David Swenson, Patrick Beach, Bridget Woods Kramer, and Nik Klironomos, to name a few.

She has hosted many yoga retreats and workshops in the UK and abroad.

Viola seamlessly blends passion with expertise. Her teaching style is a harmonious fusion of traditional wisdom and contemporary insights, fostering holistic well-being.
When practicing with Viola, you’ll enjoy dynamic yet playful classes focused on mobility and functional anatomy with strong alignment principles, mental balance, and spiritual awareness.

VINITA

HATHA, ROCKET YOGA, YIN YOGA, YOGA NIDRA, PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION​

 

Vinita has been practicing yoga in various forms throughout most of her adult life, with its philosophy deeply woven into her upbringing. Born into a spiritual Brahmin family, she was immersed in yogic principles from an early age.

While working long and demanding hours in the music industry, she turned to yoga as a grounding force — a remedy for stress and a natural solution for insomnia. It became her anchor, offering both peace and clarity.

 

With over 1,000 hours of training, Vinita is deeply honoured to share the teachings that have transformed her own life — blending traditional wisdom with contemporary understanding to support others on their journey.

VERONICA

SLOW FLOW, YIN YOGA, CHAIR YOGA, SOUND HEALING & MEDITATION​

Veronica is a compassionate and intuitive teacher who supports people on their journey of healing and transformation through yoga, breathwork, sound therapy, and meditation. Her offerings focus on creating balance and inner peace, with a special love for Yin Yoga, Slow Flow, and functional, accessible movement practices like Chair Yoga.

With a rich background in both wellness and the performing arts, Veronica brings creativity and presence into every class. As a long-time singer and rapper, she naturally integrates sound and vibration into her sessions, using tools like singing bowls and vocal tones to deepen the meditative experience.

In Veronica’s classes, you’ll find a safe, welcoming space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore movement and stillness with intention.

 

TABATHA

VINYASA, POWER YOGA & RESTORATIVE​

Tabatha, a graduate of The House of Yoga in Putney, specializes in Power, Vinyasa, and Restorative Yoga. Tabatha, as a yoga teacher, is both incredibly passionate about her practice and the belief that yoga is for all to enjoy and experience. From martial arts and fitness background, she is passionate about the benefits of yoga, both for the mind and body, especially with how attention to our breath can change and alter our lives. Tabatha’s journey in yoga has led her to study further in Accessible yoga & Children’s yoga which she loves to practice regularly at local community centers and schools. Yoga has been a part of Tabatha’s life for many years and she is excited for where it will guide and lead her next.

SARA

Sara (she/her) has been practising yoga for 10 years and trained as a teacher to share her passion and help others to move, breathe, connect, and learn in a way that feels right for them. She loves creating welcoming and accessible classes to ensure students feel empowered to make the practise their own and take the learnings off the mat.

Sara's (she/her) classes are a space where everybody is welcome to show up exactly as they are. Whether you're looking to add more fire to your day, or take it easy; you will be encouraged to honour your body and make the practise your own.

SHAZ

VINYASA, YIN YOGA & MEDITATION, RESTORATIVE â€‹

​Shaz Diaz is a passionate 460-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Meditation, and Breathwork facilitator who specialises in soft, gentle styles of Vinyasa and her main love - Yin Yoga. Her love for Yin Yoga stems from its deeply relaxing, nourishing and healing practice that encourages profound introspection and tranquility. Shaz adapts her classes to accommodate and adjust for all needs as she knows first hand that every BODY is unique, Often mixing up her left and right, mentioning her cat, and using vivid imagery in her words, she enjoys holding a playful, creative and calming space where students can enjoy their practice, feel comfortable, and gain confidence in themselves, where they are able to explore the deeper dimensions of yoga and cultivate a lasting sense of harmony.

GABRIELLA

BARRE, PILATES​

Gabriella is a qualified Barre and Pilates instructor with a lifelong background in dance. Her deep understanding of movement and body awareness informs every class she teaches, blending strength, grace, and flow.

She is passionate about making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of experience level. Gabriella creates an inclusive, supportive environment where students feel safe to challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and achieve their goals—while having fun along the way.

Her classes are energising, empowering, and designed to leave you feeling stronger, more connected, and uplifted.

YARDEN

BARRE, PILATES, DANCE​

Yarden is a Pilates instructor, dancer, and qualified dance teacher (B.Ed) from Israel, with a lifelong passion for movement, health, and wellness. She brings a strong foundation in classical Pilates and a dynamic, dance-informed approach to her barre classes.

Yarden’s teaching style is energetic, supportive, and focused on precision and form. Her goal is to inspire and empower her students—helping them build strength, improve posture and flexibility, and feel confident in their bodies. She believes movement should be both effective and joyful, and she creates a motivating space where every class feels like a step toward lasting well-being.

SOPHIA

BARRE, BALLET, DANCE​

​

Sophia began dancing at age 6 and has been passionate about movement, performance, and fitness ever since. She trained at The Arts Educational School (Tring Park) for 6 years and is a classically trained RAD dancer, also skilled in Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Flamenco. At 16, she moved to New York to study Musical Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

Since then, she’s performed and taught across the US and London. Back in London since 2016, Sophia has been teaching Adult Ballet and Barre in Highgate, Hampstead, and Camden.

Her classes focus on building strong technique in a fun, supportive environment—helping students improve posture, strength, and confidence while genuinely enjoying the process.

“You don’t stop dancing when you get old, you get old when you stop dancing!”

ZACHARY

HATHA, VINYASA​

Zachary Wilcox (he/they) is a certified yoga teacher specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa styles. Their teaching is rooted in alignment-based movement, drawing inspiration from the gentle, intuitive principles of Vanda Scaravelli.

Zachary creates a calm, inclusive space where students are encouraged to explore their bodies with curiosity and compassion. Their classes focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, and building strength and mobility in a sustainable way—helping students cultivate a deeper connection between body and mind, both on and off the mat.

SABINA

Sabina’s teaching style is centred around creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students can explore their practice without pressure. With over six years of teaching experience and 500 hours of advanced teacher training, Sabina’s classes offer a perfect balance of yoga, meditation and breathwork to bring the mindful experience. She makes the practice playful and judgment-free, like a ‘playground,’ where students are encouraged to connect deeply with their breath and body.

Expect a class that offers space for exploration, senses of community, and an opportunity to develop both physical and mental strength.

VINYASA, RESTORATIVE, PRENATAL/POSTNATAL​

Anisa's journey with yoga began in childhood, learning pranayama from her Indian grandmother. Over the years, she has seamlessly woven classical traditions into her practice, discovering a profound sense of belonging at the intersection of mind and body.

For Anisa, yoga transcends the idea of individual "union," instead fostering a collective sense of harmony and interconnectedness. She is especially drawn to yoga's capacity to create an inclusive space for all, enabling a flow of energy among beings of every kind. Having endured various autoimmune illnesses, Anisa holds deep gratitude for the sanctuary that yoga has provided her. This gratitude fuels her mission to share its beauty and accessibility with others, ensuring that its transformative power reaches everyone.

Lara is a qualified PT, Pilates and Yoga instructor with 5+ years experience teaching group and private classes across London.
